Cities 4 Woman: International Urban Design Competition 2024

Team LMS secured first place in the “Public Open Spaces in Nepal’s Municipalities: Tansen, Riddi” competition, organized by Cities 4 Women in collaboration with the European Union, USAID, and UNOPS.

The competition focused on developing gender-responsive and climate-resilient design solutions.The core concept of the team’s design was to preserve the existing amenities and infrastructure while transforming the area into a vibrant, inclusive public space for people of all genders and age groups. The proposal featured accessible pathways, comfortable seating areas, restrooms, play zones, a café space, and an EV charging station, creating a welcoming and sustainable environment for the community.
